Political consultations took place between the representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Switzerland on Friday.

The Armenian MFA representatives informed Armenian News – NEWS.am that the Armenian and Swiss delegations were headed by Armenian Deputy FM Garen Nazarian and State Secretary of Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affair Yves Rossier respectively.  

The sides discussed issues on the bilateral political agenda regarding the trade, economy, consular and legal areas, as well as the cooperation in the international organizations.

Both sides underscored the importance of continuing the projects successfully implemented in Armenia in different areas with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

The sides also exchanged idea on the developments taking place in the region. Reference was also made to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
