The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft resolution on non-recognition of results of Russian State Duma elections in connection with the vote in Crimea, 112 Ukraine reported.
It is specified that the draft bill was introduced to Rada by the Ukrainian party People’s front.
During the briefing, party leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk urged all fractions of the Ukrainian parliament to support this resolution.
Earlier, the U.S. State Department stated that the U.S. government is not going to recognize the results of the elections in the territory of Crimea. At the same time Kiev authorities announced their intention to initiate opening of criminal cases concerning organizers of vote on State Duma elections in the Crimea.
