The trade and economic relations between Belarus and Russia are not at the highest level, stated the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. At the same time, he accuses Moscow of exerting pressure on Minsk, reports the BELTA. 

"It has been a couple of months, that we could not have agreed on gas prices. In this regard, Russia has cut the oil supplies to Belarus . We perceive it as a pressure on Belarus. However, neither me, nor the Belarussians will tolerate the pressure,”  he said.

According to him, Russia banned the exports of some Belarusian goods, especially the food, which goes to the European Union. "In Russia, those products are assessed as of " low quality. " I can understand the reason.  When we supply products of high quality and with reasonable prices to Russia, we hit the pockets of the oligarchs who reign in the Russian agricultural sector. They put pressure on the government (I know that there are links), and the government commands the Rosselkhoznadzor officials  to “attack.”   "We are fed up with this. It can not go on further. But what I am saying does not mean that we will stop our integration projects. Instead, we will optimize our participation in those projects. We will analyze very carefully our participation, firstly in the Eurasian Economic Commission. If it continues like that, I can hardly continue keeping a pile officials there. Their number  already reaches almost a thousand in so-called the government of the  Eurasian Economic Commission. What’s the benefit of it? Why should we spend money to keep highly qualified specialists in Moscow, " he said.
