The daughter of Sasna Tsrer armed group member Martiros Hakobyan (DED), Zaruhi Hakobyan, has been sacked. Moreover, the Hakobyans are not allowed to start construction on the land owned by them.  

“I was absent from work for eight days; I had verbally notified my boss about that. On September 7 my boss phoned me and said that upon the decision of the head of [Karabakh’s Kashatagh regional] administration, Suren Khachatryan, I had been fired. Besides, we owned land upon being resettled in Karabakh’s Berdzor town.  Now we aren’t allowed to do anything there. They say the land isn’t ours and now we have to live in an emergency status building.  Thus, we are neither provided a flat nor allowed to start construction on our land,” Zaruhi Hakobyan told journalists Thursday.

Ded’s daughter sent a letter to the Karabakh President several days ago to find out whether the happening was the result of the personal enmity of the Kashatagh administration head or they had been subject to political repression.

Zaruhi Hakobyan worked as a lead singer in the Berdzor National Instrument Ensemble of the Kashatagh region.
