U.S. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump stated at a rally in Reno, Nevada that if he is elected as U.S. president than he can retain the opportunity to cooperate with Russia in fight against the Islamic State terrorist group, NBC News reported.

“I can say this. If we got along with Russia and Russia went out with us and knocked the hell out of ISIS, that’s OK with me, folks”, he said.

At the same time Trump emphasized that he does not know how will develop Russia-U.S.  relations in case of his presidency.

“They say Donald Trump loves Putin. I don't love, I don't hate. We'll see how it works,” Trump told a rally outside Las Vegas.
