The ceremony for the founding of the Mexico-Armenia Friendship Group was held Thursday at the Chamber of Deputies of the Congress of Mexico. 

This group comprises MPs from various political parties, and it will be headed by Blanca Margarita Cuata Domínguez.

In his remarks at the event, Armenia’s Ambassador to Mexico, Ara Ayvazian, pointed with satisfaction to the establishment of this friendship group. He also stressed the importance of development and strengthening of parliamentary ties in terms of deepening and expansion of state relations.

Representatives from the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs and the Armenian community of Mexico also delivered remarks at this ceremony.
