New York court accused Russian woman of blackmailing disgraced former governor Eliot Spitze.

She has been indicted on felony charges for the alleged $400,000 extortion scheme, New York Daily News reported.

Zakharova did not appear in court when her case was called. Attorney Christopher Wright saw the judge on her behalf. She will be arraigned on the indictment in Manhattan Supreme Court on November 1. She’s being held on $1 million bail.

In February 2016, Zakharova accused the former governor Eliot Spitzer of commission of violence over her and of attempt to strangle her in Plaza hotel room.
