YEREVAN. – A total of 2.5 billion drams (approx. $5.3 million) will be allocated for the parliamentary election to be conducted in Armenia in the coming year.
The First Deputy Minister of Finance, Atom Janjughazyan, noted the aforesaid at Tuesday’s National Assembly hearings on the draft state budget for 2017.
Janjughazyan added that 591.5 million drams (approx. $1,244,900) will be allotted for holding the election of the Yerevan City Council members, and 183.6 million drams (approx. $386,413)—for the local government elections in the provinces of Armenia.
