STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces 85 times, from late Tuesday night to early Wednesday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired around 1,100 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and by way of various caliber weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, the adversary fired 20 shells from mortars, one shell from a rocket-propelled grenade, and one shell from a grenade launcher, on the NKR Defense Army combat positions that are located in a northerly direction of the line of contact.

But the Artsakh defense army vanguard units are in full control over the frontline, and they take the necessary steps to reliably maintain their combat positions.
