Two Lebanese Armenian servicemen have started working in the Lebanese President's residence.

Editor-in-chief of Beirut-based Armenian newspaper Azdak, Shahan Kandakharyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

"These are Lebanese Armenians Hovhannes Keshishian and Petros Lapashian. Hovhannes Keshishian, who has been appointed commander of presidential squadron B of the presidential guard of honor, will deal with the personal security of Lebanese President. Petros Lapachian has been appointed commander of squadron B, being in charge of the transportations and other actions in the residence. In the past Armenians held offices in the presidential residence, but not of that level," he noted.
