YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 486.36/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 0.03 from Monday, informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 522.35 (up by AMD 0.57), that of one British pound was AMD 606.88 (up by AMD 1.35), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.22 (up by AMD 0.03).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 268.02, AMD 18,965.14 and AMD 15,339.74, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 100,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 486.75/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 486.75/$1.
