STEPANAKERT. – The situation was relatively calm along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces—except for in the Martuni direction, as the adversary violated the ceasefire about 15 times, from late Tuesday night to early Wednesday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 140 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and with different-caliber shooting weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

In addition, the adversary fired two shells from a rocket-propelled grenade, in an easterly direction of the line of contact.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units refrained from taking actions in response, and continued to reliable maintain their military positions.
