Secret document published by WikiLeaks concerning the Feb. 25, 2010 meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. Undersecretary Nicholas Burns caused big fuss in the Turkish society.

The Turkish press labels Azerbaijani leader’s words as backstabbing.

In the course of the mentioned meeting, Aliyev stressed that gas deal signed with Russia was aimed at showing Turkey that they will not be allowed to create a gas distribution hub.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that they will issue the statement after WikiLeaks publishes all the documents. He stressed that WikiLeaks’ seriousness is doubtful and somehow concerning.
