Austrian parliamentarian Christine Muttonen was elected to a second term as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA).

The decision was reached on Sunday, at the OSCE PA’s Annual Session in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus. 

Solely Muttonen was nominated for the post of President of the OSCE PA, and, according to its rules, she was reelected without holding a respective vote.

Christine Muttonen heads the OSCE PA since mid-2016.
