In case Armenian-Turkish reconciliation process resumes, the initiators should put a new document on the negotiating table, director of the Armenian Genocide museum Hayk Demoyan told the journalists today.

“Armenian-Turkish reconciliation process is over, the protocols, which are depreciated due to Turkey’s conduct, cannot be a basis for any future process,” he stressed.

Demoyan called right Armenia’s decision to suspend the process. Armenia took not one step but a half. Half step was enough to show which side exactly was responsible for ruining the process.

Director of the Armenian Genocide museum believes that new document, if it appears, should not contain provision on setting up a commission of historians or it may be mentioned as a reference. “It should be underscored that commission’s aim is not to discuss disputable problems but hold debates over the issues related to extermination of genocide consequences,”  Demoyan added.
