The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report, on Friday at 8:31pm.

It was informed that a road accident had occurred on the Dilijan-Ijevan motorway, there were affected, and rescuers were needed.

A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a vehicle—with G. V. (born in 1996) behind its steering wheel—had gone off road on the aforesaid motorway, and slid into the gorge below for about 10 meters.

But prior to the rescuers’ arrival at the scene, the driver was taken to Dilijan town hospital, where physicians said the patient is in satisfactory condition.
