As usual, Baku uselessly tries to distort the position of international community on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
Tigran Balayan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, noted about the aforementioned on his Twitter account.
“This is EU position on the resolution: full support to the mediation efforts and proposals of the OSCE Minsk’s Group Co-Chairs,” Balayan added.
Also, he posted on his Twitter account the European Council document that was issued on February 9, and which refers to Azerbaijan, especially the Karabakh conflict.
This document reads as follows, in particular: “Following the escalation of violence in April 2016, the resumption of high-level dialogue in Vienna, St. Petersburg and Geneva was welcomed by the EU. The parties now need to follow up on their agreement to intensify the negotiation process and reduce tensions on the line of contact and to finalise the expansion of the existing office of the personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office as well as to implement other decisions reached during recent Summits.”
