The US decision to expel Russian diplomats runs counter to Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump’s telephone conversation, said Russian Ambassador to US Anatoly Antonov.
The last telephone conversation between the two leaders “inspired hope,” the diplomat said adding that ideas expressed by the leaders were expected to turn “to constructive actions” , RIA Novosti reported
“I hope that maybe in the future our relations will be restored,” the ambassador concluded.
