53-year-old resident of Turkish province of Erzurum, a father of 5 children was sentenced to 8 years and 4 months imprisonment for having kissed her 41-year-old neighbor on her lips.


The incident occurred on July 7, 2008. 41-year-old N.Z. was going upstairs to her apartment when the neighbor suddenly approached the woman, kissed her and immediately fled the location, Turkish “Milliyet” daily reports.

After this incident, the woman filed a lawsuit against the man. A forensic examination found the woman suffered serious mental damage and the court arrived at such a verdict.
