Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo discussed a number of issues during telephone talks on Wednesday.
The sides exchanged views over the development of the further US-Russian relations as well as over the situation in Syria and the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis based on Minsk agreements.
Lavrov and Pompeo highlighted the need to overcome the existing disagreements via dialogue in order to normalize Russian-US relations.
