Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Thursday Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Todor Staykov who is completing his diplomatic mission in the republic.

President Sargsyan expressed gratitude to Ambassador for his efforts to strengthen relations between the two nations, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Armenian leader touched upon bilateral economic and trade relations, stressing their level nearly reached pre-crisis indicators.   

The sides stressed that relations in humanitarian field are successful as well, noting the states are also cooperating within international agencies.
