U.S. Ambassador in Armenia Marie Yovanovitch has left for Washington to participate in the meeting of U.S. ambassadors, spokesperson for the embassy in Yerevan Taguhi Jakhukyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The Ambassador will arrive in Washington to attend the annual meeting of heads of diplomatic missions,” she said.  Taguhi Jakhukyan stressed the meeting will give an opportunity for the ambassadors working worldwide to exchange views.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will gather 180 ambassadors in Washington. It is the first such global conference. The issues referring to the situation in the Middle East will be on the agenda.
