The Armenian delegation to the CE Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) needs strengthening to be more efficient, the delegation member Zaruhi Postanjyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, the issue is on the agenda. "People really able to work well must be included in the delegation," she said.

As regards the necessity for replacing head of the delegation David Harutyunyan, Postanjyan said: "Since PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu was elected with David Harutyunyan`s silent consent, the ruling coalition should analyze the situation and make a necessary assessment. It is not up to me to decide on his replacement," Postanjyan said.

It is desirable that the Armenian delegation include aides to enhance its efficiency, she said. "For example, the diplomats accompanying Turkish and Azeri representatives do a lot of work. May be we too should apply this format," Postanjyan said.
