Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan expressed condolences over the death of former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
“Deeply saddened by the news about the passing of #KofiAnnan. He leaves great legacy for promoting multilateralism, proactive and responsible #UnitedNations. His contribution to strengthening @UN capacity for genocide prevention is invaluable,” he tweeted.
Kofi Annan has died Saturday after a short illness, at the age of 80.
