A total of 11,927 liters of vodka were produced in Armenia last year – a 10.2% decrease as compared with 2009.
The RA National Statistical Service reports that a total of 15,325 liters of beer were produced in Armenia last year – a 41.8% increase as compared with 2009.
The aforesaid does not at all mean Armenians drink less now. Armenian citizens just prefer vodka produced in Russia and Ukraine.
