Sertil Kocadoli was detained in Turkish city Diyarbakir for squeezing large amounts of money from Turkish entrepreneurs and posing as Armenian Matilda Sarsaryan.

The officers of the investigations department found out that the woman extorted money from several businessmen in different provinces of Turkey, Posta newspaper reports. A total of 17 criminal cases were initiated against her on charges of money extortion, theft and forgery.

Kocadoli used every opportunity to say she had close ties with the Armenia Diaspora. Following talks with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), she could get a mine. However, she did not pay the money to PKK and escaped.

The woman’s name was mentioned in the testimonies of Ibrahim Sahin, the leader of Special Forces unit, Turkish Special Operations Department during an Ergenekon trial. “She is settling down Armenians’ lives in southeastern Turkey. I am pursuing him,” Ibrahim said in his testimony.
