The names of the pilots of the military aircraft crashed in Azerbaijan, are known, APA agency reports.

According to Spokesman for Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu, there were two officers of the Air Defense Forces – Lieutenant-Colonel Zaur Yusifli and Captain Khayyam Shukurov. The pilots were not injured in the crash.

The accident happened while the aircraft was landing at about 17.00 in the territory of Kurdamir region. According to the initial causes, the landing gears were not lowered.
