Mass protest actions are expected on Friday not only in Egypt but other countries of the Middle East – Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen.

Demonstrations against corruption and lawlessness will be held in Syria, while Islamists will join mass protests in Jordan. They call on the authorities to immediately carry out reforms.

In Lebanon several thousands Sunnis gathered near Egypt’s embassy in Beirut. The protestors not only spoke about Cairo’s events but also opposed appointment of one of the Hezbollah leaders as a prime minister. The crowd was dispersed by police.

About 20,000 of Yemen residents organized a demonstration in support for countries’ leadership in the central square of Sana city. The oppositionists also held a protest.
