We need to gradually end the dollar’s monopoly in international trade.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan—who is on a visit to Kyrgyzstan—stated the aforementioned, according to Anadolu news agency.
In his words, dependence on the US dollar in international trade has become a bigger problem.
And referring to Turkey’s agreement with Russia to purchase the Russian-made S-400 missile defense system, Erdoğan said “some are disturbed by this,” adding, however, that Turkey did not need permission from anyone in this regard.
