Republican Party of Armenia to gain 50% +1 at 2012 elections, Armenian Speaker s

As a representative of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), I declare that RPA will gain 50% + 1 votes at the forthcoming 2012 parliamentary elections,  Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan told reporters, commenting on  leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan’s statement that PAP will poll 50% + 1 votes.

“Certainly, each political force, including Prosperous Armenia and oppositional “Heritage” party, is seeking to gain majority of votes in the parliament. No one is to blame for such statements, as each has a right to make them,” Abrahamyan said.
