Some facts on the murder of 81-year-old woman in Ganja City of Azerbaijan were clarified.

Ganja City’s police told APA agency that 81-year old Siddiga Aliyeva murdered last night was the mother of the deputy chief of the Azerbaijan Interior Ministry’s Police Academy Mahir Ahmadov. The motive of the murder was a robbery.

Siddiga Ibrahim Aliyeva, 81 was found dead in her apartment at Aziz Aliyev Street in Ganja. The operative group of investigators arrived at site. They examined the body and identified that she was strangled with scarf. Her jewels and money were stolen.

Police is conducting operational searches to identify unknown murderer or murderers.
