On February 8, Russia’s UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin that Russia is putting forward a proposal for the UN Security Council to send a mission to the Middle East, Mignews reports.
According to Churkin, Russia is concerned about the situation in the Middle East. “We all know the efforts to restart the Israeli-Palestinian talks are at impasse and the situation in the region is quite fragile and is fraught of further complications,” he said.
