Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Algerian counterpart Abdelkader Messahel on Friday during his visit to New York, Armenian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

The sides exchanged views on a number of issues on the bilateral agenda.

The ministers highlighted their readiness for practical steps towards strengthening cooperation in various fields and importance of conducting political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.

The parties discussed the preparations for the Francophonie summit in Yerevan and the upcoming events.
