YEREVAN. – The Investigative Committee of Armenia has provided details on a one-year-old boy’s brutal murder in Armavir Province.

Accordingly, as per the preliminary data, the father of this child had used violence against the youngster. On Friday at around 9pm, the little boy’s father beat him at their place of residence located in a field. The little boy died on the spot from the injuries he sustained.

In addition, according to the statement by the victim’s mother, on the same day, her husband committed violence against her too.

A criminal case has been filed.

The scene of the incident was investigated, with the participation of the child’s mother. It was found out that, initially, they had attempted to hide the child’s body in a ditch in order to conceal the murder. But the little boy’s mother took the body, fled, and went to a medical center where the youngster was pronounced dead.

The father of the child is arrested.
