Export of armaments and military equipment in Russia in 2011 is estimated at $ 10 billion, said the first deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Alexander Fomin.
The total export order for the next few years is estimated at more than $ 30 billion. The plan for the current year is about a third of the total, said Fomin, RIA Novosti reported.
He noted that at the end of 2010, Russia exported $ 10 billion arms and military equipment.
