Armenian Minister of Justice Hrair Tovmasyan stated he did not have any disagreements with Chief of the National Security Service Gorik Hakobyan. The two just had different opinions on one point, and the difference was settled.
The bill on freedom of assembly was approved by the Government and submitted to Parliament. Minister Tovmasyan gave an evasive answer to a question about the cause of the difference.
Armenian News-NEWS.am reminds readers that the two officials had a clash at the Government’s sitting February 3.
“Are European expert to teach our security service and police how to behave during rallies?” Hakobyan asked indignantly as the Government discussed the bill on freedom of assembly.
