New military leadership of Egypt which assumed the power after Hosni Mubarak’s resignation will dismiss the cabinet and two chambers of the parliament, Russian RBK television reported.

Earlier a representative of Egypt’s Council of Armed Forces said at the moment the military government is studying the situation, as well as steps it would make in the near future.  In a televised address military spokesman noted they have no intention to usurp power as it is not in the interests of the Egyptian people.

Yesterday president Hosni Mubarak resigned and handed power to the Council of Armed Forces headed by Defense Minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi.
