Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) refuted the information that the PAP Leader Gagik Tsarukyan presented a new coalition document to the party members on February 15.

The PAP parliamentarians refuted that the party held a meeting and said they are unaware of a new cooperation memorandum. However, the MPs declined any official comment on the issue.

On February 16, the ruling coalition is likely to sign a new cooperation memorandum setting terms of cooperation between the coalition parties in the parliamentary and presidential elections scheduled for 2012 and 2013 respectively, a reliable source had earlier informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The document says the three coalition parties should support the incumbent Armenian President at 2013 presidential elections.

In an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am, the PAP parliamentary faction member Vardan Bostanjyan said that Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is not discussing the signing of a new coalition document, which envisages the ruling forces’ joint participation in the parliamentary and presidential elections. In this respect he stressed he does not see alternative to Serzh Sargsyan.
