February 16, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in the opening ceremony of new production lines of the Arpimed Company.

The Armenian Government`s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Premier Sargsyan was shown around the production shops that meet GMP standards and saw the first products. The Director General of the company informed the Premier of the quality control process.

Premier Sargsyan congratulated the company staff and commended the work aimed to operate new production lines.

The Premier said that drug production is among the Armenian Government`s priorities. "We must create favorable conditions for rapid development of pharmaceutical production. It means that we must show our consumers that medicines produced in Armenia meet international standards and are affordable," Premier Sargsyan said.
