The act of sabotage by Azerbaijani armed forces on February 17 was another failed adventure, Press Secretary of Armenian Defense Ministry David Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The act of sabotage was doomed to failure, which is evidence of Azerbaijan’s bankrupt propaganda about its powerful army,” Karapetyan said.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 17, in the north-eastern section of the contact line between the Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces (in the direction of Jraberd), the enemy committed another act of sabotage. After meeting resistance by the frontline detachment of the NKR Defense Army the Azeri commandoes had to flee. According to the preliminary information, the Azeri side had losses, which was also confirmed by the Azeri side. The NKR Defense Army did not report any losses.
