The Sixth Yerevan Book Fair opened at The National Children’s Library after Khnko Aper, on February 17.

The three-day fair is also hosts Department of Printing Holy Echmiadzin, which represents about 50 new publications in the field of theology, Armenian studies and rituals. The event was attended by about 30 Armenian publishing houses in Yerevan. In 2012 Armenia will celebrate 500 years of publishing the first printed book. For the same reason UNESCO declared Yerevan the World Book Capital.
