On February 24-26, the delegation headed by U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg will arrive in Armenia, the Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“Of course, Karabakh conflict resolution will be on the agenda. Steinberg twice met with Armenian authorities last year and discussed Karabakh issue. It is noteworthy that the meeting will be held on the threshold of Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents’ meeting in Moscow on March 5.

“The Presidents’ meetings in the Russian Federation are held on the initiative of the Russian side. Steinberg’s visit to Armenia proves the OSCE MG Co-Chairing countries have decided to attach a higher importance to this format,” the daily says.
