An Armenian citizen was brutally killed in the city of Vanadzor by his son.

The police was alerted Seryozha Gubatyan, 50, died in his flat, police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Arriving at the scene policemen found out Gubatyan’s son, 20-aged Tigran, killed him with a knife and ax. Tigran, who is reported to be mentally ill, was arrested. 

Criminal proceedings were instituted.
