Residents of Libyan Benghazi negatively responded to speech by Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Youm 7 website reported.

In a televised speech Gaddafi Seif al-Islam warned of a revolution, noting they “will fight to the last minute, until the last bullet.”

Thousands of people gathered in Benghazi’s central square chanting anti-government slogans with shoes in their hands in token of disrespect for authorities, RIA Novosti reported.

Mass riots have been held in Libya since February 15 with the center in the city of Benghazi where violent clashes between protestors and law enforcers break out. According to the Human Rights Watch, the death toll has risen to at least 233.

At the moment Armenian Foreign Ministry is verifying information whether there are Armenian citizens in Libya.
