The Moscow City Court has ordered house arrest for Gulnara Shah, the director of a plastic surgery clinic in the Russian capital city, and who was detained for causing damage to Karolina Sargsyan, an Armenian client of this clinic.
At the clinic, this patient had undergone a nose job, whereupon, however, she had fallen into a coma.
It was found out that she had sustained a skull fracture.
A criminal case was filed.
Anesthesiologist Lev Khitrin, and Armenian surgeon Gevorg Stepanyan also are involved in the case.
The said clinic had no license to perform plastic surgeries, it is now closed, and the area is sealed, RIA Novosti reported.
As per the victim’s attorney, none of the defendants has yet plead guilty and has not offered compensation for the damages caused to this Armenian woman.
