Giedrius Cekuolis, Personal Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE on the Protracted conflicts, has arrived in Baku today, Feb. 21.

He is to hold talks with Azeri officials and discuss ways of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
On Feb. 22, Giedrius Cekuolis is to meet with Azeri Deputy FMs Araz Alizade and Mahmud Mamedghuliyev.

Armenian News-NEWS.am reminds readers that Lithuania took over OSCE Chairmanship from Kazakhstan in 2010.
Last December Giedrius Cekuolis stated Lithuania, as OSCE chairing states, would hardly provoke any revolution in the resolution of protracted conflicts. However, he said, the country would do its best.

Irena Degutien?, Speaker of Lithuanian Seimas stated earlier that the Seimas was drafting a resolution on a peace settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The resolution`s fate depends on the international community`s efforts to resolve the conflict, she said.
