YEREVAN. – Police of Armenia have provided details on the shots that were fired Sunday evening, in capital city Yerevan.
Accordingly, at 9:20pm, the law enforcement received a call that a man was firing shots at a house, and with an automatic weapon.
The police officers who arrived at the scene found out that, at 9:15pm, Vahram Manvelyan, 32, had fired shots at this house—and with a hunting rifle, and cursed.
Subsequently, Henrik N., 68, had made remarks to Manvelyan, and the latter had fired shots at this man’s legs, with the same weapon. At 10pm, Henrik N. was hospitalized with a gunshot injury.
At 9:45pm, Vahram Manvelyan was detained from the scene of the incident. In the process, however, he kicked and broke the mirror of the door of a police vehicle.
Manvelyan has been arrested.
Several forensic examinations have been commissioned.
The investigation is in progress.
