US President Donald Trump agreed to provide four months for the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, NY Times reported.
According to the source, Trump reportedly told the head of US forces fighting ISIS in the region, during his trip to Iraq last week that troops could have several months to ensure a succinct departure.
“If anybody but Donald Trump did what I did in Syria, which was an ISIS loaded mess when I became President, they would be a national hero,” Trump wrote. “ISIS is mostly gone, we’re slowly sending our troops back home to be with their families, while at the same time fighting ISIS remnants.”
Washington launched a military operation against ISIS in Iraq in June 2014, and in Syria in September 2014.
