Confrontation between authorities and protestors continues in Libya, while many militaries take sides with the protestors. Shots are herd in Tripoli, Interfax quotes an eyewitness. According to him, Twitter and Facebook are blocked in the country, only e-mail is functioning.

Earlier Libyan Interior Minister Abdul Fattah Younis announced his resignation and urged the army to join people.

Many regions mainly in the east have joined the opposition and are controlled by opponents of Muammar Gaddafi. Tripoli is still under control of Gaddafi but the situation may change.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, in a televised address on Tuesday evening Gaddafi said he does not have a post that he could leave. He is not the president, he is the leader of the revolution - and he will die as a martyr in this land. Gaddafi claimed he had not yet ordered the use of force, warning that “when I do, everything will burn.”

The experts say Gaddafi has to ways out: to kill himself or wait till he is killed.

Meanwhile, Libyans are burying the killed and prepare for self-defense.

Yesterday the Armenian Foreign Ministry contacted three Armenian citiznes who are presently in Libya. They had been transported to a safe place.
