The revolutionary sentiments in the Arab world may reach Armenia, the Armenian MP Vardan Khachatryan told journalists February 23.

"We will see how the virus will affect Armenia. The fact is that the world is going through radical changes," Khachatryan said. The Armenian authorities state that similar events are impossible in the country, which does not at all mean anything.

The MP reminded the journalist that the Armenian Government claimed the global crisis would not affect the country. However, Armenia registered the largest economic decline.

The authorities` policy fuels revolutionary sentiments in Armenia, the MP said.

"I do not see any steps aimed relieving tension in Armenia. On the contrary, I see steps fueling revolutionary sentiments," Khachatryan said.
